This workshop offers an introduction to working with plant based inks. Participants will learn simple recipes to make inks from locally found botanicals such as black walnuts as well as plant extracts. Additionally we’ll explore the possible modulations of colour using mordants. Everyone will have an opportunity to create and take home a customised cotton tote and ink pot.
