Inspired by the Polish tradition of cut paper, the imagery of this scarf was created during my residency in Zaczernie, Poland.
I hand cut paper as stencil forms and worked with inks made from locally gleaned plants including rose, raspberry and birch leaves.
This carré is printed in Canada with reactive inks on silk Habotai.
